
Bob Ihrie Advisor
Mr. Ihrie served in several roles during his sixteen years at Lowe’s Companies, Inc. but spent the majority of his career as Senior Vice President of Compensation and Benefits before retiring in February 2017. In his SVP role, he was responsible for the strategic direction of the companies’ compensation, benefits, and leave and accommodation programs for all 280,000 employees, including a $1B medical plan and a $5B 401(k) plan.
Bob is a frequent speaker and a nationally recognized healthcare and benefits innovator who was able to consistently deliver health care trends below the national average. Bob was a Board member of the National Business Group on Health for nine years and served as the chair of NBGH’s Strategy Committee for six years. He also served for seven years on the Lake Norman Regional Hospital Board
Mr. Ihrie is a Phi Beta Kappa from Haverford College and has earned an MBA from Harvard University and a JD from Temple University. He is a certified compensation professional and a certified benefits professional
