Richard is president of Neuner Consulting, a Minneapolis-based firm that provides business, marketing, and sales strategy to health plans, health systems, and specialty health care providers. Prior to forming his own company, he spent thirteen years as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. In addition to his responsibilities for sales and marketing, he had executive accountability for corporate strategic planning, product development, and medical banking. He also served on the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s Inter-Plan Programs Committee, the Prime Therapeutics board of directors, and the Consortium Health Plans board of directors.
